some brain surplus

Re-Solution for a New Situation

With resolute mind,
I stand up to resign,
from giving in to myself,
and from feeling malign.

In response to my whines,
I will sit down to sigh;
for giving in together,
always seems so right.

With a resilient heart,
my lips hesitate to part,
with the prospect of words.
I re-silence their start.

In resounding here,
the terms never expressed,
Stay ever echoing there,
in my resolute chest.

With resolute mind,
I refuse to unwind,
For, what I might find,
with the freedom to decide.
